Distant Dreams
A downloadable game for Windows
A Yume nikki fangame created for the "Dream diary jam 5"
This game is a demo or prototype of what will be a more complete game, as time goes by it will be updated and will have more content until the game is complete.
Features:
-Surreal dream worlds with strange characters, effects (for now there is only two) and a cool BGM
-Minigames to play in the Sparkstation360 (For now there is only one)
-A computer where you can save games, unlock things and read distant memories
By the way thanks for visiting my game page, many of the things in the game at the beginning I had no idea how to do them (like the pixel art and the minigames) but along the way I was learning, it was tiring but fun, especially for the nice and creative community of Yume Nikki that participated with me in this JAM, I hope you enjoy my game as much as I enjoyed making it.
You can check the credits inside the game files, they are two text files called "Credits"

Very cool to see an update! I think I've collected all the effects, images, and mini-games, but I think the ending may be bugged. Are the puzzle pieces supposed to connect together?
Yes, all the pieces are supposed to come together and the final door will appear. I was testing and the bug didn't appear, instead a different bug appeared in the minigames that I hadn't seen before. I'll try to fix it as soon as I can, but regarding the final door bug, I still don't know why it happens. Try opening a new game and getting the effects again to see if that fixes it. If it still happens, confirm for me. Maybe it has to do with the order in which they are obtained or another factor. Any information would be helpful. I'll try to fix what I can.
Pretty sure I found it. After some digging, it looks like one of the tiles that gives the "Bug" effect doesn't add to the effect count.
I just checked it, you were absolutely right, that was the problem, I will correct it right now and change the current newer version with one without the bug
Thank you very much for finding the bug
